Singing "Happy Birthday" using markers as candles (notice the marker drawn on the table. reason #12 why we have NO new furniture.)
Then crying when the markers fall down.

Learning all the ins and outs of "Star Wars" from the cousins. The other day Jenna yelled "HELP ME, MOM!!!!" I rushed to find her and she says, "DARTH VADER IS COMING!" Then here comes Carter going "RARRR!" lookin' like this.
Watching the train go round and round.
Making sure the toys get enough popcorn.
Having picnics with delicious plastic food.
Then throwing the food in the toilet. (NOT COOL, CHILDREN!)
Destroying mom's old-school cassette tapes. So long, mix tape of '99.
Eating chocolate in the car. In 100 degree weather.
Teaching Jenna to write the letters of her name. She did pretty good!
And going up to Park City for the 24th! Nate took Jenna and I took Carter down the Alpine Slide they had a ball!!! It was way fun.

Then here are a couple videos... Jenna lately has loved pretending she is the mom and Carter is the dad... and I am Jenna and Nate is Carter! So here she is singing "Carter" to sleep. It was funny, she came back to check on him and said, "Oh good, you're not playing!"
Then here's Logan he's learned how to rock himself in his carseat.
Then he rocked himself right to sleep.

That video of Jenna singing to Nate was so sweet! I'm afraid I would have cracked up because of the cuteness.
I totally hear ya. Expensive furniture with young kids is a bad idea. My brother-in-law doesn't get it yet, and buys everything expensive. Stinks for him whenever his kids draw on his leather sofas with fingernail polish! Too bad. :) Is Carter wearing Jenna's shoes in the pic where he's watching the train? Ha ha! :) Thank goodness for dark interior cars and car seats, eh? It sounds like you had a lot of fun lately. Jenna is getting sooo big! She looks so tall on the carousel! Crazy.

I love the pictures. Darth Vader is way scarier at our house!! Jenna is a great little singer! I love the line up stage. that is always fun and messy
That was a fun catch up! Loved the precious video of Jenna singing. So cute! What a beautiful family! And it's nice to see down-to-earth living at the Gomm's home, too with the DVD's not in perfect place and the bowls all in a line.
I have never heard of that song that Jenna is singing to her daddy. Where did she learn it? SO SWEET!
