Yes that is salad. I have never made so much salad before, but the last couple months I have been a crazy salad maker. I know, I know, I am SOOOOOOOO healthy!!!!! Right!!! Okay. Sigh, let me be honest. You see, it is not really about the salad. At all. I am actually addicted to this:
Ranch from a packet. It's kinda funny, cause this is how my mom made salad dressing growing up, and I never liked it that much because I wanted the REAL Ranch, from the bottle. As soon as I got married you betcha I bought the bottled Ranch. None of this powder stuff. I hadn't had it for years. Then in December my sister-in-law made a salad with Ranch packet dressing and it was like the best salad I ever had. And now I am NOT going back. It has tasted so good to me. You'd think by actually making it, seeing as it is just a bunch of mayonnaise and milk, that would defer me, but no it does not. So you see? Who is NOT eating healthy now???
Speaking of not eating healthy, as a sort of a joke Nate bought me a 24 case of Coke for my birthday back in January. I'm just not a caffeine drinker, never have been, but I had told him with all my headaches and only being able to take Tylenol that maybe caffeine would help, as recommended by a few people. So he bought Coke for my "headaches." OH. MY. GOSH. I LOVE COKE!!!! I feel like I joined a special club, I became one of those "Coke" people, cause I found myself throughout the day saying, "Mmm I think I need a Coke!" Well I stopped waiting for a headache to use them and they were all gone in 6 weeks, not too bad, right??? But I am seriously bummed they are all gone and I am afraid to buy more because this addiction is not good for me. But I WANT MORE! Sigh. And you know what? I have had to take Tylenol 3 times since I ran out of Coke, and I swear, the whole 6 weeks i was drinking caffeine I maybe had one headache. SEE I NEED IT! IT HAS HEALING POWERS!
So I was trying to take a funny picture of Coke and Me and Nate took like 5 pictures and this is the best one cause the rest are ugly, and this is pretty ugly too... I guess it was not a photogenic moment. But it is not about me, it is about the Coke. My sweet, precious, Coke.
So. SPEAKING of unhealthy food obsessions....
Chocolate chip cookies.... MMMMM I WANT ONE! I am seriously going through a serious chocolate chip cookie phase. I won't tell you how many of these I ate... I even woke up having dreamt about them. Yeah this is what i dream about at night. OH YUM!!!!! Joining pinterest did NOT help, I found like 3 or 4 recipes on there all claiming to be the bestest, yummiest, most perfect one. The cookies above are one of them, and they were delish, but still turned out a little flattish and the recipe I discovered a couple years ago (thanks to HILLARY!) was still better. But I've got to try the other recipes. If I am nice maybe I will give some to you. But probably not. I am eating for two, you know.
SPEAKING OF Pinterest... I am JUST now getting into it and it is way way way too much fun. The thing is I have to stop pinning ideas, I have to start doing them. I have made some yummy recipes from there, Slow cooker chicken cordon bleu and honey garlic chicken in the crockpot YUM. But is anyone else watching lots of hair tutorials and doesn't have time to do them??? Sigh. Maybe someday I will make more of an effort.
SPEAKING of hair! Curlers!
Stinkin cute! I bought some sponge curlers cause the ones I had before magically disappeared (aka kids using them as guns by shooting off the sponge part and eventually they all got lost) I was so excited to use them!!!!
Jenna's worked out beautifully.
Kaitlyn had pulled all hers out before she fell asleep that night. We will work on it. Although walking around with "swoopy hair" is cute too.
OKAY last, but not least, my other obsession lately:
Okay. I am done. Good night!

I watched the whole first season a few weeks ago in one day on my computer, and I was super stoked to see that it was on PBS's site last night for the second season. I better hurry up and finish it since it's on the site for less than two weeks.
And funnily enough I was obsessed with making homemade chocolate chip cookies in the last few weeks of my pregnancy with the girls, but I wasn't with Oscar.
Mmm, cookies!
Ok, now you've convinced me to watch Downtown Abbey. Everyone RAVES about it, but as soon as you said that there was a season on Netflix, I was in! I am 5 episodes away from ending the series I'm watching right now and you just saved me the grief of trying to find a new one! :)
I love the curlers, they're super cute! I'm impressed that Jenna made it through the night in them. I have a tough head and I remember HATING them just because of how much they hurt to wear.
Cookies....I hate how the pinterest pictures look so fantastic and you make them and are like... ummm....what recipe did they REALLY use to make those beautiful thing!? Ok. That is all!
We have become Ranch Dressing Snobs as well... always homemade! But you should try the Buttermilk recipe. We think it's the best!
And I've heard about this show... maybe I'll have to become an addict as well:)
Totally into Downton Abbey! I feel like such a tv junkie now because all I do is sit in bed all day watching past episodes of it! Also, totally know about the obsession with Coke!!! Except I love cherry coke!!!! I have to avoid the soda aisle at the grocery store because I would be a complete addict if I bought it all the time.
